Rebeam Support

Terms of Use

Effective date: 30 September 2026

These terms apply to the Rebeam app for iPhone (“Rebeam”, “the app”) and to Rebeam subscriptions. The app is provided by Maksim Solovev (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions: hello@rebeam.me.

What Rebeam does

Rebeam adds a short pause before the apps you choose, using Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls). During the pause you can do a short task — for example, breathe or solve a puzzle — and then open the app or leave it. Rebeam is a tool for your own habits. It is not medical or psychological advice and does not replace professional help.

Rebeam works within what iOS allows. Screen Time features depend on Apple, and an iOS update or a system setting can change how the pause behaves. We fix such issues as quickly as we can, but we cannot promise that the pause will appear every single time.

Subscriptions and purchases

Partner tasks

Some tasks may come from partner apps, for example a chess puzzle. Partner content belongs to the partner. If you connect an account with a partner, the partner’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that account. What we share with partners is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please do not copy, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, try to get around purchases, or use it to break the law. We may suspend access for serious or repeated misuse.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, texts and the Rebeam name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple’s Usage Rules.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. When using the app, you must also follow any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your mobile carrier’s terms.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies where these terms do not cover a topic.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The effective date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app.
